Vitamins are organic substances necessary for the normal functioning of the body, primarily the regulation of metabolic processes, as well as for the growth, reproduction, and functioning of organs.

We know thirteen vitamins and each of them has its role. The human body cannot synthesize them or synthesizes them in an insufficient amount. That is why we add vitamins to food and thus introduce them into the body. Vitamins in an amount of usually at least 15% of the recommended daily intake have important roles in the body.
